Moodle is an open source ‘Virtual Learning Environment’ designed to support the interactions between learners and lecturers. More information about the Moodle system can be found at http://moodle.org.
I had previously used the system for my teaching and have installed a private version of the environment so that I can show examples of my teaching work in a secure environment.

There is also an example of an integrated Moodle system I have setup on the Migraine in Primary Care Advisors website. This system is publicly available and you can register automatically for an account.
